This heater is made by MC Enterprises as Norcold has discontinued the part all together. It's an exact replacement.

This model heater fits the N6/ N8/ N1095/ 600/ 600/ 900/ 9000 series refrigerators with a cooling unit serial number below 11231023. If your cooling unit serial number is above that number, you need:
AC Heater 630811 (<click)

*The cooling unit serial number can be found on the cooling unit itself. Remove the rear side panel on the outside of your RV to access the back of the refrigerator.

Got the old one out with a little elbow grease. Plugged new one in to make sure everything worked and within a few seconds it was hot and ready to go. Easier to put in than getting the old out. Works perfectly!
It is cooler now!

Was blowing ac fuses and then I pulled the heating element out and tested .025 ohms. Replaced the new one, works great now! Had a Norcold 6162.

I knew nothing about RV refrigerators...until now

Most people would have just replaced their old RV fridge when it quit working at a major cost.I reached out to Norcold for a $50 heating element for my 2004 Jayco ,they walked me thru the part numbers,sent the correct part in 4 days,fridge works like new,just like that.
