Troubleshooting
Cooling units fail for one reason: prolonged overheating of the cooling unit. This typically happens from being parked off-level. Since the cooling unit is a gravity operated system, it requires you to be within 3 degrees of perfectly level from side to side, and 5 degrees front to back. Overheating of the ammonia solution breaks down the anti-corrosive additives and you'll either be dealing with a floating blockage in the cooling unit or a rupture.
- Physical signs of failure:
- Yellowish powder/ dust beneath the cooling unit
- Smell of ammonia
- Signs of internal failure:
- No cooling detected when operating on either mode.
- Usually a sign of a floating blockage inside the cooling unit that is preventing the flow of ammonia.

- 3-5 hours
