Norcold DC Fan Thermostat 618093 (fits all models with fans)
This is the fan thermostat that helps with air flow behind the cooling unit. If you have insufficient cooling and your fans are not kicking on, this is most likely the cause. To test this you can jumper the fans to see if they kick on by bypassing the thermostat. If they do turn on and it's hot enough back there to operate the thermostat correctly, you need to replace the thermostat. You can also try putting a hair dryer on the thermostat after verifying that the fans do infact work.

is working
Replaced thermostat and fans as they were from my.2004 RV so as to not have them fail and have to re pull out the fridge again to replace.

Changing out this thermostat
Changing this thermostat is difficult. Unless you remove the fridge from the cabinet. Undo the 12 volt wires at the board (back of unit) undo the gas line (turn off propane) and remove two screws outside. Four screws inside. Pull unit out of cabinet and tilt down. Thermostat is top right of unit looking at front. [Before doing any of this] Take wires off thermostat and jump together with jumper wire. If fan DOES NOT come on check for power from board. If 12volt from board then replace the FAN.

got ripped off for shipping but good product- tough to change out
Got the part but was charged $ 12 shipping on a $ 30 part. Actual shipping cost was 3.87.. Just seems wrong. The thermostat in the top of the unit on a cooling fin, on top of the rv, under the vent. It was a bear to get to. You need a small offset screw driver to change it. The engineer who designed it should be made to change it out at least once. On another note, if your door gaskets need replacing, you have to buy the whole door. Each door must be replaced--- $800 plus a piece. Another great design
