Norcold Lower Refrigerator Door Assembly 623942/ 638833 (smooth interior)

The 623942 part number has been superseded to 638833 but everything is identical.

- Fits the following models with doors that have a smooth interior texture (not waffle!):

-Smooth Interior Lining. If your refrigerator door has a waffle interior texture, this door will not work on your refrigerator hinge setup. Unfortunately, Norcold has discontinued the waffle textured door. If you need a waffle textured door, you will have to locate one in old stock from another retailer.

-Panel Style (panels could be either black acrylic, white acrylic, wood grain, or brushed aluminum)

If your door has broken off at the lower hinge, we highly recommend also replacing the reinforced hinge kit with this door. You can add the hinge hit at the link below:

If the door you are replacing has a waffle interior texture, you will need to replace the door, hinge pin, and both hinges in order to make this smooth interior door work. Below is a link to a kit that will contain all of those parts necessary to convert your waffle door and hinge set up to that of the smooth.

Replacement for damaged door

Received my replacement door for my Motorhome refrigerator that broke the bottom hinge. I also got the update kit for the hinges. Really easy to put together and install if you don't have any issues. For some reason, who ever put the original door together and put the wood front on it thought it would be funny to add some glue to it to make it hard to remove and place in the new door frame. Really wasn't funny when I almost damaged the whole thing. Other than that, went together fine in a little over 30 minutes after I got it apart (2hrs).
Replacement door just like new.

Once I made the door change no one could tell. It fit perfectly and was very easy to install. I did have to change the wooden door insert and was uncertain how to get the end piece off without breaking anything. Reinforcement bracket is a definite addition to make so the hinged piece doesn't break.

Everything about ordering door was easy, I found it on the internet then called to make sure it was the correct one. Ordered it, paid the extra for 3 day delivery and got it in 2 days. Very easy to install. Used the rv this weekend and the door worked great. Could not believe it went that well. Also ordered the reinforcement plates. Easy to install. Would use this site again.

This is the exact door that I needed. Fix perfectly! trim piece on left side of door just pulls off. Put old panel in new door. I bought extra reinforce bracket so this won't happen again. Excellent Part!!! Great Job !!

My lower hinge broke after 10 years of use. I searched online and found my door here. Pricing was very fair, shipping was fast and best of all the was an exact replacement. The door took less than 10 minutes to install including looking for a screwdriver. I am very happy with this purchase, I will use this site again, hopefully not too soon.
