Norcold Power/ Circuit Board 628661 | New Style
This is the current Norcold power board being used in most Norcold refrigerators manufactured after 2006 and prior to 2019ish. Make sure that you see your Norcold model listed below before ordering. Your model number tag can be located inside the refrigerator on the right hand side.
This Norcold circuit board is the gateway for voltage getting to the various components of the refrigerator.
Below are the Norcold refrigerator models that this board fits: (If your refrigerator was manufactured in 2006 or newer, this could be the board that you need. Simply put, if your power board looks like the one above, then it is the one above because no other Norcold power board looks like this. If your refrigerator was manufactured Pre-2006, then this board will not fit your refrigerator, regardless of model number.)

Serial Number range will vary with the specific model refrigerator, however, if the board you have on your refrigerator looks like the board pictured above, IT IS! This style board has two plug connectors (one row of 10 pins and one row of 6 pins) while the older style boards are more rectangular and have only one 16 pin plug connector.
Troubleshooting
Potential problems that a new power board could solve:
- Refrigerator not sensing AC power
- Refrigerator not sensing AC heating element
- Refrigerator not sensing a flame
- Refrigerator not powering on
- Refrigerator incapable of resetting
- Intermittent issues
- Ignition failure
- SR code display (N641, N841, N1095, 1200, 1210)
- S code display (N621, N821)
- Green light flashing 6 times (N611, N811)
- If any electrical burn marks are present anywhere on front or back of power board, you should replace it.
Installation
Time: 30 minutes or less
Tools:
- Ratchet set
- Screwdriver
Steps:
- Turn your battery switch to OFF
- Remove power board cover
- Take a picture of the board before disconnecting any wires
- Disconnect all wires and remove defective board
- Place new board on old board cover base and connect wires
- Before placing board cover on, turn battery switch ON and power up refrigerator to verify everything is connected and that there are no faults present. If everything is working, put cover back on.
