Norcold Optical Display Board 636388 (fits the N611V/ N811V) - upgraded board

My N611V was freezing food no matter where I moved the thermister. Also, no ability to run the fridge on propane when AC power is on-board. Replaced the original board (auto switch only) and both problems solved. Food no longer freezes, I have some control over temperature (5 settings), and I can power the fridge from propane to limit AC load when I am using my generator.

I needed the ability to run on propane all the time, even if the generator is supplying 120vac, I was a little disappointed to find that I did not have this option on the 611V. The 300 watt load of the fridge running on AC, when the converter is spooled up recharging the batteries, is sometimes just enough to keep from starting the A/C. Not that I run the A/C very often, just planning ahead. This board solves that problem, giving the ability to run on propane regardless of the power source, of course, AUTO is still there if needed. Added bonus: The ability to fine-tune the temperature. I'm not sure why this panel doesn't ship on all 611V's.

after running for two days its holding the temperature at 38 where before it would freeze everything.
