This kit is a recommended replacement part for models that have had the door break off at the lower hinge. If your door has broken off, you will need to replace the door. This hinge kit simply reinforces the new door's lower hinge.

Overpriced and provided to prevent breakage from a known manufacturer defect. Should have been provided for free after already having to spend $175 to replace the broken door. This piece is supposed to add additional insurance to prevent the door from breaking again but for a small piece of metal is terribly overpriced. I actually crafted support myself until I could get this item and I just can’t believe how expensive it was including the shipping. The item itself weighs less than an ounce and could’ve been shipped first class for much less. All around very disappointing having to spend almost $44
