Norcold Thermistor Assembly (618548)

This component senses the temperature inside your refrigerator compartment. It tells the refrigerator to turn on or off in order to reach the desired temperature.

Works with the following Norcold refrigerator models:

• N6XX: N611, N621, N622, N641, N642
• NX611, NX641, NXA641
• N8XX: N811, N821, N822, N841, N842, N843
• NX811, NX841, NXA841
• 900 series: 962, 963
• 9000 series: 9162, 9163, 9182, 9183
• 2117

Any numbers or letters after the model numbers are not important for this part. The thermistor has a 4 prong connector that will snap into the light fixture located up at the light bracket. The other end clips to the 10th fin from the right hand side. 

Troubleshooting:

Potential issues a new thermistor can solve:

• Freezing everything in refrigerator compartment, regardless of temperature setting.
• Temperature setting having little to no effect on inside temperatures.
• No cooling at all.
• Insufficient cooling.
