Norcold Thermistor Assembly (618548)
DISCONTINUED AND REPLACED BY NORDOLD 621742
Works with the following Norcold refrigerator models:
- N6XX: N611, N621, N622, N641, N642
- NX611, NX641, NXA641
- N8XX: N811, N821, N822, N841, N842, N843
- NX811, NX841, NXA841
- 900 series: 962, 963
- 9000 series: 9162, 9163, 9182, 9183
- 2117
Any numbers or letters after the model numbers are not important for this part. The thermistor has a 4 prong connector that will snap into the light fixture located up at the light bracket. The other end clips to the 10th fin from the right hand side.
Troubleshooting:
Potential issues a new thermistor can solve:
- Freezing everything in refrigerator compartment, regardless of temperature setting.
- Temperature setting having little to no effect on inside temperatures.
- No cooling at all.
- Insufficient cooling.

Easy solution to cooling problem!
Worked like a charm ... Turned off refrigerator in RV then unplugged old thermistor .. plugged new one in ... turned refrigerator back on ... seems to be working properly now ...

My Norcold RV Fridge N611 was locking up on me. Being a novice, I searched for the answers on the 'net. Finally, I learned how to unlock it but had to repeat it every two days. I ordered a thermistor wire from The Norcold Guy and it arrived on time. Just installed it and we shall see. But as to the company and their products no complaints and yes I highly recommend them.
