Our technical support services are supplied by our RV refrigerator technician, Brian Currier. Brian is an avid, full-time RVer in the summer months and full-time sailor during the winter months. Before setting off on land and sea adventures he was an RV refrigerator technician responsible for training techs in the field as well as working with dealerships/ service centers around the country in the diagnosis of troublesome refrigerators. These were usually last resort calls to ensure all measures had been taken to fix the unit before replacement was necessary. Brian is a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) traveler, like most RVers and ocean cruisers. The lifestyle often times requires it and so he's dedicated his time to help travelers near and far get their Norcold and Dometic RV and marine refrigerators back up and running! Once purchased, Brian will reach out via phone to the number given at checkout. Email troubleshooting is also available to those with less than reliable service.
You do not need to be a certified electrician or mechanic in order to troubleshoot your refrigerator and we'll show you exactly how to do it in a safe and efficient way. For those RVers that don't feel comfortable diving into the troubleshooting process, we recommend going to a service center.

Warranty Work?
- We do not perform warranty work for the Norcold brand. We are in no way affiliated with Norcold/ Thetford and we now prefer it stays that way. If you are under warranty, note that you must follow their steps and procedures for having the refrigerator diagnosed in person by someone in their system.

Just as advertised
I was a little apprehensive to sign up for phone diagnosis, but it worked out better than expected. Brian contacted me right away and was very helpful in tracking down the problem. Well worth the $40 to get it resolved quickly. The local RV shop offered to fit me in their schedule in 30 days and diagnose for $100 per hour. Brian was very helpful, walked me through the steps, assisted me with questions. I am very satisfied. It also helped me learn how my fridge works. I hope I never have another problem, but if I do, I will use the service again. I will recommend this to anyone with a little bit of mechanical aptitude. Thanks!

Great Tech Help
Started to start up freg two days before trip. Found frig would work great on LP, but would not work on AC........Found Norcold Tech support on line. I purchased the tech support , and met with Brian via e-mail......He was great, and we reached a conclusion to the problem, and the parts are on the way..........If I need help again I will request tech support from Brian....

After several attempts to get this refrigerator working I thought what do I have to lose! Worth the $40, Brian pegged it right on the money the first time. Saved me BIG time !!!!!

Pretty simple fix.
Don't understand why it couldn't have been mailed. It came via UPS directly to the Campground without my name on it as requested, so it took a while to get to me. No instructions enclosed, I guess I'll figure it out.Looks just like the one that I am replacing.
