Our technical support services are supplied by our RV refrigerator technician, Brian Currier. Brian is an avid, full-time RVer in the summer months and full-time sailor during the winter months. Before setting off on land and sea adventures he was an RV refrigerator technician responsible for training techs in the field as well as working with dealerships/ service centers around the country in the diagnosis of troublesome refrigerators. These were usually last resort calls to ensure all measures had been taken to fix the unit before replacement was necessary. Brian is a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) traveler, like most RVers and ocean cruisers. The lifestyle often times requires it and so he's dedicated his time to help travelers near and far get their Norcold and Dometic RV and marine refrigerators back up and running! Once purchased, Brian will reach out via phone to the number given at checkout. Email troubleshooting is also available to those with less than reliable service.

You do not need to be a certified electrician or mechanic in order to troubleshoot your refrigerator and we'll show you exactly how to do it in a safe and efficient way. For those RVers that don't feel comfortable diving into the troubleshooting process, we recommend going to a service center.

Warranty Work?

We do not perform warranty work for the Norcold brand. We are in no way affiliated with Norcold/ Thetford and we now prefer it stays that way. If you are under warranty, note that you must follow their steps and procedures for having the refrigerator diagnosed in person by someone in their system.

I give the tech 5 stars! Food was starting to go bad and he was able to get it working within a few minutes. I'm still struggling to get it to cool down as much as I would like but apparently that's an issue with the heat I'm in out here. For that I'll blame Norcold! Thanks for the help I'll recommend the service!

My RV Refridgerator stopped working during a hot spell. It tripped the breaker and gave an error code of the green light on the panel blinking five times. I signed up for the Technical Support late in the day and had a call back the next morning. I explained the problem to the Technician and he walked me through how to reset the control board on my unit with a wire connected to the 16 pin connector. The reset worked great and the green light stopped blinking. It took a couple of days for the unit to catch up with the heat, but now everything is back to normal. Well worth the money spent for the troubleshooting and instructions on the reset.

I have told all my neighbors about your service here and have given them your numbe rincase they have any refrigerator problems. I am so impressed with how quickly and easily you were able to fix my unit. I was so close to just replacing the power board and I'm so glad I didn't! Well worth the $40 and I hope you're making good money off of this. I'll continue to recommend the service.

I was a little hesitant to call because I don't know much about electricity and have a fear of getting shocked! The tech support guy that I talked to was able to diagnose the refrigerator in about 20 minutes just by having me do some simple things from inside my RV. No shock! Thanks for the help!
