Thermal mastic needs to be used when replacing a Norcold cooling unit. This thermal mastic bonds the back side of the refrigerator to the interior side of the cooling unit. If your refrigerator is losing the cool air inside while you're driving down the road, and only when you're driving down the road, you most likely need to reseal the cooling unit.

Thermal mastic is a hazardous material and for that reason cannot be shipped out by air.
