Norcold Thermistor Assembly 636658 (replaces the 620871)
This is the current thermistor for all Norcold 1200 models, the 1210, and N1095. "Thermistor" = thermostat. Any numbers or letters after the model numbers are not important for this part. The thermistor has a 4 prong connector that will snap into the light fixture located up at the light bracket. The other end clips to the 2nd fin from the right hand side.

- N1095 (all models)
Status:
Discontinued and out of production. Norcold is no longer making this thermistor. That said, there is another thermistor that operates the exact same way but, has a shorter wire that will not reach all the way to the 2nd fin. That does matter when it comes to cooling performance, however, it's the only solution that exists.

Thermistor
Replaced a thermistor that was failing with this one. Works as it is supposed to. I ordered the thermistor and a new clip (these should come together, not as separate orders) Both received in good shape. However, these small items were sent in two (2) separate cardboard boxes. The boxes were about 6"x8"x6" and there was ample room in one box for several of these parts. This I a ridiculous thing to do and causes the shipping cost to be excessive. *Mr. Sweat, the two parts were in different warehouses unfortunately, however, we only charged the regular $10 ground fee. Our customers will never have to pay additional freight when parts are in different locations. - Shipping Department

Norcold Thermistor Assembly
This product was very easy to install in my fridge. I've used it for several months now before writing this review. When I turn on the fridge, it cools quickly. I am very pleased and will not hesitate to purchase from Seek Adventure LLC again.

Replacement Thermistor
Fast shipping, part was easy to install and definitely was the problem with my unit frosting up continually. Glad to have it back operating properly. The site suggests getting a new clip but in my opinion that was around five dollars that I could have saved and would not get if I were to do it again. I think it should be included with the part if it were that necessary but it isn't necessary if you have the old one.
