Norcold Thermistor Assembly (618548)

This component senses the temperature inside your refrigerator compartment. It tells the refrigerator to turn on or off in order to reach the desired temperature.

Any numbers or letters after the model numbers are not important for this part. The thermistor has a 4 prong connector that will snap into the light fixture located up at the light bracket. The other end clips to the 10th fin from the right hand side.

    Had a problem with the food freezing in my N811FLT. Did some research and decided this was the part I needed. Ordered from the Norcold Guy and got the part in 1 day. It was a snap to install and my fridge is now working fine again.

    My old one was rusty and possibly sending bad readings to the controls. Inexpensive way to renew the sensing unit.

    After the piece arrived, I installed the thermistor and it worked great. Very easy to install and it took care of my problem with the refrigerator not working
