Installation is fairly straight forward, however, they could eliminate a lot of confusion by having unit specific instructions, I found it confusing to have to sort through the paragraphs of instructions that had nothing to do with my unit. After it was all installed, the unit still doesn't work properly, at least the unit is cooling, but the door light is staying on (with the door closed) and the unit won't change modes manually or let me change the tempature setting. It is obvious issue with the opitical control panel. We will see how well the warrantee people respond.

the product itself was exactly as advertised , installation instruction were fairly easy to follow ( I have average technical knowledge, but not a pro by any stretch ) I have fully tested the install and again...works perfectly in all modes of operation. This site however could improve its own levl of communication with it's customers...the order was shipped 3 days after the day it was ordered, they did not reply to direct emails or on their own measage board ( I was a little concerned that I would not recieve tha part intime to repair my rv ridge before my vacation trip) - communcation needs much improvment...
