Norcold N300 Won't Stay Lit on LP Gas Mode - Norcold Parts
Posted on
This is a very aggravating issue, we know! The good thing is that this is a very common and well known issue to troubleshoot with the Norcold N300 model refrigerator.
The first thing to do is try jumping your interruptor. The interruptor is located at the top of the refrigerator and has one input line from the gas valve and two output lines leading to the board on the top of the refrigerator. To "jump the interruptor", simply remove both wires leading to the power board and connect a jumper wire to those terminals. If the unit stays lit, what is the problem? Do NOT say "the interruptor must be at fault". This part is replaced so frequently and is never the real problem. You actually need a new wire kit. Luckily, we sell these wires and they're very inexpensive. Click the link below to view the N300 wire kit and place your order!
