Norcold N15DC/ N20DC On Light Is Blinking And Won't Cool! - HELP
The Norcold N15DCSS and N20DCSS have LED controls that are capable of showing a fault code but sometimes, there are issues that arise outside of the normal faults. A blinking on light is one of them and it most definitely does indicated a problem.
The first thing to figure out is whether or not it's a fast blink or a slow blink.
FAST BLINK:
A fast blink, multiple times per second, indicates a break in your thermistor connection. It may have come slightly unclipped or maybe it got caught up on something and has a break.
SLOW BLINK:
A slow blink on your Norcold N15DC/ N20DC indicates a problem with the input voltage being too low. Take a multimeter to the board and check right at the refrigerator. If you have a reading of 12-13.5VDC, then it time to make sure this voltage is clean. With your leads from your meter on the same two connections, change your meter setting to the lowest AC setting that you have. If you have over 0.5VAC on your DC line, you have a problem with your RV battery charger. We recommend replacing your converter/ charger with something new to ensure your refrigerator has clean power even when your coach batteries are being charged.
