Norcold 1200/ 1210 Cooling Unit Replacement! | YES, they're available. Yes, we have them!
Norcold has recently discontinued the 634746 and the 634747. Those two parts numbers are for the cooling units for both the older 1200 models and the newer 1210 models. Since there are SO many of these models still out in the industry, this is causing a big problem. BUT... there is a solution.
A company by the name of Nordic has started refurbishing the cooling units and making them stronger, more resilient than they were straight out of the box. That means a longer warranty and it means your refrigerator has a lot more life in it.
If your Norcold 1200 is pre 2006, then you may also need to upgrade to the Norcold 45 degree AC heating elements as well to make sure they will fit into the slot on the cooling unit.
