Norcold Lower Refrigerator Door Assembly 623955 or 638835 (smooth interior texture)
We hate to be the bearer of bad news but.... this door has been discontinued by Norcold and is no longer available for purchase in the industry. There is no known fix for a broken lower door hinge which is likely what you've experienced. Due to the fact that many of your model's replacement parts are obsolete, we recommend looking into replacing the refrigerator. The exact replacement for what you have can be found at the link below. It's the same exact exterior dimensions with the same connections. Out with the old, in with the new!

Door plus Hinge Reinforcement
Product is good, and It was fairly easy to install... rated it lower due to the fact that there are no instructions on how to install the decorative door panel that goes with it. I'd suggest that this be added to the info that is sent out. I had to search for quite a while to find a similar instruction online.

Perfect Replacement
Door solved my issue, which many others have experienced...broken lower hinge. Instructions would have been helpful; thankfully other reviews provided directions. Note: you will need to reuse the wooden door panel & handle from your old door; those are not provided

Plastic hinges
The product we received was in good order. Took less than 5 minutes to install. The fact that the Norcold door has plastic hinges will continue to be an issue I am sure. The service we received was outstanding.

Door worked fine after replacing. There are no instructions. They never tell you that you are not getting a complete door. You have to take the outside center panel off of your old door. Remove the long plastic strip opposite the hinge, slide out the old panel and put it into the new door. Then you have to remove the handle from your old door and put it on the new door. On your refrigerator, unscrew the pin on the top hinge and put on the new door. You shouldn't have to buy a whole new door, because of their defective design. They never tell you not to put heavy things in the door. It is the perfect size for 1/2 gallon drinks, but they are also heavy. Norcold is making money off of a defective part. Shipped in 1 day - cheapest option.
