Description
Dometic Eyebrow / Optical Control Board 3851485023 – RM1350
This genuine Dometic eyebrow board, part number 3851485023, is the upper control board for the Dometic RM1350 refrigerator. It fits all RM1350 units regardless of serial number. It sits behind the control panel ("eyebrow") at the top of the refrigerator, and the product photos show its two-digit display. It works with the lower power module board to handle your mode and temperature settings and automatic energy selection (AES) between electric and LP gas.
Signs your eyebrow board may need replacing
- The control panel display is blank, dim or shows garbled segments
- Buttons don't respond, or settings won't change or won't stick
- The refrigerator won't switch between AC and LP, or AES mode doesn't work
- The panel powers up but the refrigerator never starts cooling
Check first: confirm you have good 12V DC at the refrigerator and check the fuses on the lower power board. A blown fuse or a bad lower board can make the eyebrow board look dead.
Installation
- Turn off the refrigerator and disconnect 12V DC and AC power.
- Remove the eyebrow trim/cover above the doors to reach the board.
- Photograph the ribbon/cable connections, unplug them, and remove the old board.
- Install the new board, reconnect the cables exactly as before, and reinstall the cover.
- Restore power and confirm the display and buttons work in each mode.
Tools: screwdriver. Takes about 15–30 minutes.
