This genuine Norcold replacement part, number 50593, is a thermocouple that proves the burner flame so the gas valve stays open.
Fits
Gas burner thermocouple for older Norcold absorption refrigerators, including the Norcold 462. It is not the thermocouple for the N300/N400 series, which use 619154 or 620424.

Installation
Turn off the LP gas. Unscrew the thermocouple from the gas valve and burner bracket, install the new one and snug the fitting. Light the refrigerator and check that it stays lit.
