Norcold Board Kit / Controls Adapters Included 637779 (old 633292) Models N82X/ N62X

Every Norcold refrigerator has a specific power board and optical board.  They are completely proprietary with eachother because they need to communicate back and forth.  This kit will work on any N82X/N62X model refrigerator that has an obsolete optical board assembly. This is determined by the serial number located on a decal inside the refrigerator box. If your serial number is below 9126825, this is the kit you need. If your serial number is above 9126825, you need:

Optical Board w/ wire adapter
Power Board w/ wire adapter
Lamp/thermistor wire (the jumper wire that goes across LI IN and LI OUT)

No, it will not. Your serial number is ABOVE the serial number break which means you already have the new style boards. If you need a power board, it's 628661 and if you need the optical board, it's 628974.

Yes, it will. Just like in the description above, it fits all N621 and N821 models with a serial number below: 9126825.

That number is not anything that I can reference. You look up the board you need with your model and serial number.

Bought one of these control board/optical board kits because upon buying camper, optical board was missing. Refrigerator was working, but coolong too much. Received parts and installed all components included, followed all steps. Now I have a trouble code “o” on my display, which indicates “Cooling unit high temp limit switch is open( if applicable)”. This apparently is not owner serviceable and has to go to dealer? Ive looked and put the unit through its diagnostic modes and have come up with little to nothing. My serial # doesnt seem to be within recalled units numbers. Please help. See more »

That optical board is no longer in production and there is not a replacement that will work in it's absence. I am really sorry about that! The replacement refrigerator is the NA8LX.

This board kit is designed for Norcold N621 and N821 RV refrigerators. The kit was designed when Norcold changed the plug connector up at the front optical board in 2006. Part arrived on time but it might not be the part i need to repair my fridge. I will try and return it. Connected the part everything seemed to work on the electrical side of operations but the propane side of operation doesn't work. I might need the gas assembly part for this fridge or just get a new fridge. Nothing is built to last anymore.
