One of the easiest ways to identify the Norcold 628661 is by its connector configuration. The 628661 uses two separate plug connectors: one row of 10 pins and one row of 6 pins.

Earlier-style Norcold power boards are generally more rectangular and commonly use a single 16-pin connector. If your existing board has the same appearance and 10-pin plus 6-pin connector arrangement as the 628661 shown in our product photos, you have the later-style board.

What Does the Norcold 628661 Power Board Do?

The 628661 is the refrigerator's main control board. It receives 12-volt DC power and manages or supplies power to several refrigerator systems, including the front control panel, AC heating circuit, and LP gas ignition system.
