Furrion Arctic 8 and 10 1 Flash: Voltage Fault
The inverter board saw input voltage outside its normal range and stopped the compressor. It’s usually the RV’s 12V supply.
Before you start
- Good voltage is 12 to 15 volts DC at the fridge. It shuts itself off below 9.6 volts, and the battery should hold at least 10.5 volts under load.
- Pull it out first. Most of these tests need the fridge slid out of its cabinet and the back cover off.
Fits these models
The Furrion Arctic 8 cu ft (FCR08DCGTA) and 10 cu ft (FCR10DCGTA) 12V compressor refrigerators, in every door finish and hinge side. The second number under each model is its Lippert part number.
How to read this code
1 flash, then a pause. The Arctic has no display. This code comes from the inverter board on the compressor, and you read it with a small test LED.
- Disconnect power, slide the fridge out and take off the back cover. The inverter board is on the compressor; its terminals are labeled −, +, F+, F−, D, C, P, T.
- Connect the LED’s negative leg (cathode, the flat edge) to terminal D. Nothing else is plugged in there.
- Connect the positive leg (anode) to the + terminal without unplugging its wire: slide the rubber sleeve back and clip onto the metal connector.
- Reconnect power and wait at least 5 minutes. Count the flashes before each pause.
You need a 10 mA LED and alligator clips or a spade-terminal jumper. No flashes? Recheck the connections, then see the intermittent-operation flowchart.

Measure voltage at the board
Measure DC volts across the + and − terminals on the inverter board.
Is it 12 to 15 volts?
Fix the RV’s 12V supply
The problem is the RV’s 12V supply, not the fridge. Plug into shore power, check the converter, check wiring and switches, and charge the batteries.

Rule out a start fault
Voltage is good at the board. Work through the compressor start fault checks (hard reset and compressor connections).
Does the 1-flash code come back afterward?
Repair complete
The fridge is running normally again.
Replace the inverter board
Voltage is good but the board still reports a voltage fault. It’s the compressor control board mounted on the compressor behind the back cover.
