Norcold N6XX / N8XX no AC Code (No AC Power)

no.↔AC.

A / NO AC

Norcold N6XX / N8XX no AC Code (No AC Power)

The fridge is set to use 120V AC but the board isn’t getting it. In AUTO it switches to propane; in AC-only mode it stops cooling. Check the RV’s AC supply, the power cord, the F3 fuse and its clips, then the power board.

Before you start

  • Where things are. The power board, fuses and burner are behind the lower outside vent, under a cover on the back of the fridge. The optical control (display) assembly is in the front box at the top.
  • Good AC voltage is 108 to 132 volts AC.
  • No extension cords. Nothing else should be on the fridge’s AC circuit, and no extension cords should supply it.
  • Safety first. These are live 120V tests. Have a qualified technician do them if you’re not comfortable.
